I remember when I heard something at the back door once and thought it was the cat. I opend the door and there was a possum eating the cat food and it hissed loudly at me. I screamed and slammed the door. Not my favorite creature

I was weak today, as blodd test result was ready and nurse called me doctor urged to meet on next Monday morning. She said it's liver problem !

The girls

were wanting to purchase some Christmas presents

for their teachers . . . this year even a visit to the Dollar store is not in the works

. . . so my creative cuties looked about the house & came up with this:

The neighbor

who is moving out recently threw out quite a bit of Christmas ornaments, so we scooped them up for the girls

to play with before we tossed them away

. . . the ornaments were not in the greatest shape, really did not think we could "save" them . . . turns out they make crazy cat

toys! One of our cats who was protecting us from one of the dreaded Christmas ornaments discovered she could unravel the string that was wrapped around it! Underneth it was a white styrafoam ball, if we had glitter I was considering converting them to hanging snow balls

but we don't have any glitter . . . so instead the girls gathered lollipops, inserted them into the ball & wrapped it with tissue paper! Waa Haa! I think the results came out clever & cute!
