"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us - they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love."

"Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body."

"Lord God, my strong Savior, You shield my head on the day of battle."
~ Psalm 140:7 HCSB

Have you ever seen a cartoon written by Amy Winfrey titled "Making Fiends"? The first time I saw it was about a month
or so ago & I love love LOVE it!
There are two main characters: Vendetta who is truly not a "happy"
individual who thrives in terriozing everyone else . . . she is forever making monsters she has dubbed "fiends" . . . then there is Charolette who is forever happy
& considers Vendetta her best friend, even thou Vendetta does not consider anyone to be her friend!
What attracted me to this cartoon was Vendetta's negative attitude & no matter what she did Charolette never ever took offense to it . . . never . . . & I thought - wow, that is how we are suppose to be!
Anyhoot, I think it is a cute cartoon & hope if you view the site you too will find it charming, in a sense . . .
God, please help me to get rid of thos negative and untrue thoughts. Remind me of Your Word so that I can think triumphantly. Amen.
