"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us - they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love."

"Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body."

"Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeting away."
~ Psalm 39:4 NLT

Did you happen to see this article the other day?
I found it exceptionally interesting
. . . interesting for quite a few reasons . . . mostly due to I have always been attracted
to coins . . . love 'em! I don't know much about them but I know I enjoy when I come across one! Just think its neat to have something made so many years
back in your hands . . . but the oldest coins I have ever come across are wheat penny's ( some people refer to them as hay penny ) . . . I love 'em
! Love the design, the look, the feel
. . . value? Some are said to be really valuable but as of yet I have not come across one that I am aware of
. . .
Anyhoot . . . read
this article . . . first thing that attracted me was the age of the coin . . . 1933 - wowzers
! Then to top it off being a $20 gold coin - double wowzers
! Then to read the story behind the coin . . . whoa
! Flipping my lid I am! To read they were designed, minted but then NEVER issued . . . mmmm, ain't that something! But it just gets more interesting to me to know that a few slipped away & that the government is seriously seriously seriously seriously wanting them back . . . & the extent they go to to get these few coins! Mind boggling!
God, I thank You for ever moment in my life. Help me to not worry about tomorrow but focus on honoring You today. Amen
