"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us - they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love."

"Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body."

"What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all , with Wisdom at Your side, made earth overflow with Your wonderful creations."
~ Psalm 104:24

Today we take our oldest
daughter, who is 12 years old, to the doctors
for a follow up from Thursdays visit
. . . she
had told us a bit back that she felt like her neck had swollen up a bit but to my eyes I really did not see what she was talking about
. . . until the other day when she came in & announced "Mom I really do not want to have a chin boob!!!!!"
. . . after chuckling
at this statement I was able to see what she was talking about

. . . as well on her right side of her face near the jawline she was beginning to swell up . . .

The doctor
declared she
has enlarged lymph nodes & has given her an antibotic for a bacterial infection . . . . today we go in to see if the lymph nodes have shrunk, stayed the same or expanded some more . . . Aug. 29th we take her
to the hospital to have an ultra sound done so he
can see a lil more of what is going on . . . from there
. . . well
then we will be scheduling a surgery to either have the lymph nodes drained or if they are hard, a bio . . .
Then later this afternoon our youngest daughter
& I are scheduled to go up to her school to met her new teacher . . . 4th grade! . . . mmm mmm mmmm
. . . . hard to believe how time can fly . . .

God, I,m in absolute awe of Your great wisdom, understanding, and creativity. Thank You for being so profoundly involved in every area of my life. Amen.
