I remember when I heard something at the back door once and thought it was the cat. I opend the door and there was a possum eating the cat food and it hissed loudly at me. eric: I was weak today, as blodd test result was ready and nurse called me doctor urged to meet on next Monday morning. She said it's liver problem !

Have you seen the news lately? mmmm  it is very depressing  . . . we presently don't have cable which means no TV for us but I really don't mind for I never really watched the news  . . . why? My kids  . . . reckon it can sound silly to some & that is fine but I really did not want them viewing 30 minutes  are so of all the negative & horrid things taking place in the world ( man o live, & in that 30 mins you are bombarded with a lot of negative! ) . . . it can be overwhelming, consuming & frightening  . . . they may be young but they see a lot already everyday just going to school . . . they experience a lot of hatred & crime as well  . . . so it is not that they are unaware I just prefer that they don't become immune to all that is going on & find it acceptable, does that make sense? I think that is a HUGE problem our society has  . . . we are becoming immune to all that is going on . . . this generation is growing up in it so they have become accustomed to people losing their houses, job lay offs, rapes, shootings, robberies, killings . . . the surprise, shock, horror of it is not there so much anymore  . . . to top it off we have these "professionals" justifying the actions & that is heartbreaking   !!! I know we all want to know why someone performed a horrendous action but when we center on that & use it to justify we are not really giving answers but instead allowing others to feel it is okay to do it as well  . . . the boy who killed his father & his fathers friend from what I gather he made a statement that his 1000th spanking would be his last, a man who beheaded & dismembered a passenger on a bus was declared "mentally ill", a recent killing of 9 people in Alabama is thus far assumed due to a job layoff, the man who dressed up as Santa & killed his estranged wife & family members is assumed due to domestic disagreements . . . need I say more? I would rather not   . . .
 
My take on it . . . people have turned from God  & favor the Devil  . . . recently a Pastor ( I believe ) was killed while in Church, there have been other shootings at churches as well . . . people love to blame God & accuse God of turning from them . . . it is not true! But due to the Devil nibbling on their ear & seeing so much going on around us, well . . . you can see how easy it is for them to stay in that mode . . . people are favoring believing what man ( human ) says . . . we use age, race, creed, financial status as excuses for actions & we seemingly say that it makes it ok  . . . we really need to stop  ! This has been going on for quite some time & has this way improved things? . . . no, it hasn't . . . it just makes way for more
 
There is no respect for parents, & parents are not treasuring their children, people are all to ready to blame everyone else before they take a good look at themselves, greed has taken over need, people who have had wrong done to them feel they have the right to do wrong to others . . .  this method is not working people!!! Have things improved? No they have not . . . this is not a game, this is life, life is a gift & precious . . . . 
 
 God, please help my attitude. I don't know your purpose for this task, but I'll do my best to honor You and thrive in it. Amen.
