I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up out of a horrible pit ( a pit of tumult and of destruction ), out of the miry clay ( froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
~ Psalm 40:13
Lord, don't leave me; my God, don't go away. Quickly come and help me, my Lord and Savior.

Please take a moment, watch, listen, learn, live
Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body.
~Proverbs 16:24

How the king rejoices in Your strength, O Lord! He shouts with joy because of Your victory.

. . . yesterday as walking
the girls
to school a lady was walking up the sidewalk as well & we scooched aside to let her past . . . my youngest
made sure she took a moment to show the lady her "new" backpack ( this one has wheels something my youngest has always wanted so she is taking great delight
in it
& the lady was kind enough to listen & give a great smile
. . . walking
back from school I see the lady struggling with some lattice fencing so I stopped to give her a bit of a hand getting it in her car
. . . eventually I turned down another street, was eyeballing the ground & when I looked up low 'n' behold there she is again
!!!! She chitted a bit & the next thing I know I was escorted to her back yard to view her garden . . . I adore
gardens! I eventually want one for us! So I did not pass up the invitation to explore hers! Her back yard is basically a HUGE maze of gardens she listed off what was what, & being it is in winter
mode I could not really see what she was explaining but in my mind I could visualize what it was going to be . . . INCREDIBLE! She had a Fig Tree, Peach
Tree, Persimmon Tree, Pear
Tree . . . blue berries, raspberries
black berries, strawberries
. . . in the house ( she told me, I did not go in ) she had a tree, which I can not recall the name, that is banana
that is small & will taste like custard
. . . how cool is that
system attached to the base of her gutters. . . not really attractive looking but I really liked the idea!
to get my oldest daughter
& ask that neighbor if he was wanting a portal basketball
court thingy ma do we have . . . we can't take it with us & I don't mind leaving it here but we thought we would see if a neighbor with kids
would like it . . . while there guess what this neighbor is doing? Gardening!!!!! Oh mercy! He is planting corn
, watermelon
, tomatoes
, strawberries
& other goodies!!!
God, thank You for leading me. I trust You even when I don't understand Your directions. Thank You that with You, the victory is assured. Amen.
