I remember when I heard something at the back door once and thought it was the cat. I opend the door and there was a possum eating the cat food and it hissed loudly at me. I screamed and slammed the door. Not my favorite creature

I was weak today, as blodd test result was ready and nurse called me doctor urged to meet on next Monday morning. She said it's liver problem !

Today has been a bit of a challenging day

. . . a lot of this & a lot of that's occurring making me think "something" was truly trying to beat me down

but at this point I am too exhausted

to be beaten very much more so for the greater part all I could do was chuckle

when things happened ( one thing being we were just told the IRS has denied our return ) . . . needing to take a break I opted to read a bit of our Family Bible

. . . when I came across this, it hit really close

to me . . .

" Jesus turned and looked at his disciples and then said to Peter very sternly, "Satan, get behind me! You are looking at this only from a human point of view and not from God's". " ~ Mark 8:33

Granted Jesus saying this was in relationship to Him discussing what was going to happen to Him . . . His death . . . but when I read this passage I thought . . . Amen

For that morning

when all the that's & this's began I declared "That's it! I am done! I leave this ALL & COMPLETELY in your hands my dear Lord! Whatever will be will be! I am too tired. I am too exhausted. There is no more fight, argument, tears left in me. I except your decisions."

God, thank You for using everything for good in my life - even what I'm facing now. It gives me hope for the days to come. Amen.
